Job Title: Field Service/Project Technician
Type: Non-Exempt
Location: CT Custom Aquatics
Wage Range: Commensurate with Experience
Travel: Local
Reports To: Project/Service Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
General: Connecticut Custom Aquatics is a well-recognized leader specializing in commercial pool service and major project renovation. CCA provides equipment installation, service, repair, and renovation of commercial, municipal and institutional swimming pools. Currently actively serving Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rohde Island and New York regions and expanding into additional markets.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Local travel to sites using company owed vehicle(s).
· Installation, service and repair and renovation of swimming pool equipment including but not limited to the following systems:
o Water Circulation Systems
o Filtration Systems
o Chemical Feeders and Controllers
o Pool Heaters
o Deck Equipment & Structures
Qualifications/Preferred Skills:
· SP1or2 Registration/Certification or Applicable Experience (license preferred)
· Willingness to pursue a license
· Organized, responsible and self-sufficient
· Strong General Construction/Service Experience
· Knowledge in the use of hand and construction tools and equipment.
· Team player
· Commit to an assigned project/or repair until its satisfactory completion
· Valid Drivers License
· Customer Service: Experience with dealing with customers at all levels.
· Technical education and/or abilities to read project bids and drawings.
· Familiarity with commercial/institutional pool equipment a plus
· Experience with working with vendor products and support.
Qualifications/Preferred Skills Continued:
· Analytical skills to install and diagnose problems.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Flexibility to work irregular hours when needed.
